Former Guyana captain Damodar Daesrath continued his fine form in Trinidad, with his latest efforts giving his team Rahamut’s Evergreen a massive 113-run victory.
Daesrath grabbed 4/25 to bowl out Calcutts Sports for 71, in Round Six action of the Carib Sunday League Limited Overs competition.
Evergreen posted 184 all out batting first with Daesrath getting just four runs. Calcutta Sports were then put under the gun by Daesrath and folded cheaply.
Elsewhere, that man Neil McGarrell continued his great start to the season, with a fine allround performance against Tobago . Firstly, McGarrell scored 32, as Merryboys folded for just 173 all out. The Merryboys skipper McGarrell then took the ball and grabbed 2/14 to help rout Tobago for just 86.
Meanwhile another Guyanese player who has been among the runs is little known Sean DeSouza. The right hander scored 28 for his club Sweet Revenge but they ended up on the losing side. Spoilers batting first scored 209 with De Souza grabbing 2/13 with his medium pacers. He then scored 28, as his team was bowled out for 163 losing by 46 runs.
