Three from Diamond crash still in hospital

Three persons who were involved in Tuesday’s accident at Diamond are still in the Georgetown hospital.

Devindra Gansham, 10, and his brother Chandrika 14, are both receiving treatment. Devindra is a patient in the High Dependency Unit (HDU) of the hospital while his brother is in the open ward. When this newspaper visited the hospital Chandrika could not speak and one of his legs was in a sling. The child’s face was badly swollen.

The neighbour of the Ganshams, Parmanand called Kenneth is also in the open ward. He has two broken legs and his face is swollen. He received a number of stitches above both eyes.

Goordiyal Gansham, his wife and his two daughters have reportedly been discharged from the Diamond Diagnostic Centre. The Ganshams’ nephew has reportedly been discharged also.
