The Region Three administration “joins with all peace-loving citizens in condemning the brutal assassinations” in Bartica on Sunday.
In a press release the region notes “with grave concern the senseless acts of terrorism, and called on the security forces to act decisively and bring the perpetrators to justice.”
Chairman Julius Faerber, Regional Information Officer Jaidev Dudhnath and PPP/C party organiser ML Hussain on Tuesday visited the home of the late Deonarine Singh, at Eastern Meer Zorg, Wakenaam, to extend their condolences. The team also visited the late Errol Thomas’s home at Lot 810, Tuschen New Housing Scheme and Lance Corporal Zaheer Zakir’s Lot 3 Tuschen, East Bank Essequibo home.
Faerber urged the bereaved relatives “to be calm and continue to pray and have faith in God.”
