The Indian Arrival Committee (IAC) recently distributed 100 hampers to Abary, Mahaica and Mahaicony Creek residents who have been affected by floods.
In a press release, the IAC said it also donated 100 boxes of biscuits to residents as part of its continuing outreach programme to the areas. The IAC said six members, five from its executive committee, used three vehicles and three boats to conduct the exercise. The group said this is the second time it has ventured to the area to provide assistance.
