Dear Editor,
I had sent a letter in April 2007 to the Guyana Revenue Authority requesting my Income Tax Refund from 1999 to 2006 and to date I have not received payment. I visited to the GRA office in Lamaha Street and was told that no refund had been paid from April 2007 to date by the Ministry of Finance.
Paying my monthly income tax is mandatory but it is extremely stressful not to have my refund. How much longer do I have to wait to be paid?
