Dear Editor,
Minister of Health Dr Ramsammy has achieved both a national (for Guyana) and personal award upon the assumption of the presidency of the 61st World Health Assembly. He is one of the two most energetic ministers (the other being Minister Manickchand) who has been largely responsible for raising the health service to a new level. We have had heart operations and eagerly await a kidney transplant, amongst other achievements.
My congrats to him on this deserved award.
