A post-mortem examination is expected to be conducted today on the body of Deonarine Kumar, who was found dead in a Crane, West Coast Demerara (WCD) canal on Saturday.
Kumar, of Cornelia Ida, WCD had gone missing last Thursday and his body, which was in the early stages of decomposition, was discovered on Saturday. Police, while believing that foul play might be involved are awaiting the results of the post mortem.
