Magistrate Chandra Sohan on Wednesday sentenced a man found guilty of trafficking and possession to six years imprisonment while another man was handed a one-year jail term after he admitted to attempted robbery.

He was reportedly caught entering a “drug block” and as he was leaving the area, ranks conducted a search on his persons and uncovered the drugs.

Before being sentenced, Crawford told the magistrate that he is a member of the Fyrish church and that he has never before been charged.
