Just over two years since her husband was killed in the attack on the home of Agriculture Minister, Satyadeow Sawh; Kendra Haywood will receive a new, furnished home from Food for the Poor.
The official handing over of the home is set for today. Food for the Poor constructed and furnished the house for Haywood after her story recently appeared in Stabroek News.
Haywood’s husband, Curtis Robertson was working as a security guard at Sawh’s home on the night gunmen invaded the home. She has is now raising seven boys on her own.
