The government has expressed an interest in acquiring 150 large and medium size passenger buses intended to upgrade the public transportation services, the Government Information Agency (GINA) reported.
An advertisement by the Ministry of Public Works and Communications was published in the press yesterday inviting expressions of interest for the supply of the buses. In light of spiralling fuel prices, there have been calls to re-establish a public bus service.
