Acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson-Ogle last week remanded to prison three teenage boys charged with attempted murder.
The teens, all of Sophia were charged with attempting to murder Akeem Thorne when they appeared at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court. They were not required to plead to the indictable charge.
The incident allegedly occurred on August 30 in Georgetown. The prosecution told the court that Thorne is still hospitalized and is on life support.
The trio was ordered to return to court on September 19.
