PNCR recalls Linden mayor’s successes

The PNCR has hailed Egbert Benjamin’s achievements during his tour as the first mayor of Linden.

In a press release the party said Benjamin “brought a significant degree of efficiency to his responsibilities as Mayor and worked hard for an improvement of the community and people of Linden.” He was also responsible for the construction of two main roads at Wismar: Burnham Drive and Cholmondeley Hill. It is also agreed that Benjamin initiated the project at Christianburg to stop a major erosion of the river bed.

The PNCR said it must also thank the family of Egbert Benjamin who “provided him with the support and comfort which freed him to devote his time and energies to the PNCR and the development of Linden.” It said it is confident that without such support Benjamin would not have been able to be the committed and loyal servant that he eventually became to his community and the nation.

The party said too it remembered Benjamin as a dedicated Christian, a good family man and someone who was passionately interested in the development of his community and country. The PNCR is saddened by Benjamin’s passing and extended condolences to his wife, relatives and friends.
