Last year when my child heard that ‘Sponge Bob Square Pants and Friends’ would be performing in Guyana, there was much excitement and anticipation on her part – and sure enough the show lived up to expectations.
Naturally, when it was advertised that ‘Dora and Friends’ would be performing on July 26, 2008, I secured tickets as early as I could – the value of the same being $4,900.00 (ie 2 adult tickets at $1,800.00 each and 1 child’s ticket at $1,300.00).
The show was subsequently postponed. To date there has not been any show. Added to this, I have not been able to obtain a refund since my effort to contact the promoter has proved futile.
