The PNCR has knocked itself out of the political arena

Dear Editor,

I am a 21-year-old female aspiring politician, and also Youth Parliament Minister of Finance.

Mr James McAllister and Mr Vincent Alexander of the PNCR both have a commendable academic background and seem to be of a sound mindset. These two gentlemen have been a part of the PNCR since the late ’60s and have made an irrefutable contribution to the development of the PNC Reform. They helped to form party policies and they argued tirelessly for their definition of a better Guyana. Mr Editor, I am sure that the majority of Guyanese and 65% of PNCR members would agree with me when I say that the PNCR is finished. They have done an excellent job of knocking themselves out of the political arena. It is preposterous and quite amusing that the PNCR accuses the government of corruption on a daily basis − but where is their integrity?

Yours faithfully,
Zalika Williams
Youth Parliament Minister of Finance
