FAO office inaugurated: President Bharrat Jagdeo addressing the gathering at the dedication ceremony of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations Guyana Office. The ceremony was held at the Ministry of Agriculture on Thursday afternoon with the keys to the office symbolically handed over to Minister Rodrigues by Dr. Barbara Graham, sub-regional Representative of FAO. The President along with both Ministers pledged the full support of their offices to the FAO.
