The Justice For All Party (JFAP) says Muslims should use the festival of Eid-ul-Adha to “remind themselves of their own submission to God.”
In a press release the JFAP said Eid should be remembered as the fulfilment of a noble command by Allah to the Prophet Abraham to sacrifice his first born son to him. In keeping with this Muslims should remember “their own willingness to sacrifice anything to God’s wishes for betterment and clean living standards for all Guyanese.”
However, the party said Muslims worldwide should not be blamed for the recent terrorist attacks by a few extremists in Asia.
