A Herstelling resident was wounded during an armed robbery at her home yesterday afternoon, police said.
According to a police press release, Shatie Munroe was in her home when she heard a noise. On checking, she was confronted by a man armed with a knife, who inflicted several cuts about her body and escaped with a cell phone.
Munroe was taken to the Diamond Diagnostic Centre where she was treated.
Police are investigating.
