Police on Sunday unearthed an unlicensed .38 revolver with matching rounds at a Princes Street, Charlestown house, after they responded to a report of threats being made.
A man has been held to assist with investigations.
Meanwhile, acting on information received, police yesterday conducted a search on a house at Zeeburg, West Coast Demerara, where they found an unlicensed single barrel 16-gauge shotgun. In this case too, a man has been arrested to assist with investigations.
