Laparkan has announced a special offer for shipment of boxes and small packages by both ocean and air freight.
A Laparkan press release said that cognizant of the current harsh economic situation confronting Guyanese in the US and Guyana, the special offer allows boxes to be shipped for as low as US$25. The release added that through this offer, an envelope-sized package can be air freighted to Guyana from Miami or New York for as low as US$12 while a “recession buster” box can be shipped by ocean freight for US$25. Boxes weighing 20, 40 and 70 pounds can also be shipped by air for US$29, $69 and $99 respectively. These prices are for shipment from Miami and New York. An additional charge as stated in the release will be incurred when these shipments originate from other parts of the United States and customs duties when the cargo arrives in Guyana.
The US$25 “recession buster” box has been introduced for those families who need to send items for their families but cannot afford the shipment of a barrel or boxes by air freight. The envelope-sized package is intended to accommodate persons who need to urgently send home documents.
