Woman had 40 grammes of ganja for trafficking – court told

A woman was remanded to prison by Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court last Friday when she appeared to answer the charge of possession of narcotics.

It is alleged that on May 20 at Georgetown, Andrea Allicock had in her possession 40 grammes of cannabis for the purpose of trafficking. She pleaded not guilty to the charge when it was read to her.

Allicock was remanded to prison until August 7.
