Man remanded on trafficking charge

Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton on Tuesday remanded to prison a man accused of trafficking in narcotics when he appeared in the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court.
It is alleged that on May 22, at Georgetown, Devon Peters had in his possession 6 grammes of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking. He pleaded not guilty to the charge when it was read to him.

Peters was ordered to return to court on October 19.
