Third and fourth place finishers will receive $20,000 and $10,000 respectively.

Fruta Conquerors was the first team into  the final after sticking up the army team 1 – 0 in the curtain raiser of the double header which saw Camptown getting past Western Tigers 3 -1 on penalty kicks after being deadlocked 1 – 1 at the end of full time.

A 55th minute Manessah Primo goal was all that was needed to defeat the sturdy GDF team.

The first half ended 0-0 and Conquerors were forced to repel a number of attacks on their goal before coming away with the win.

In the feature encounter the  `Tigers’ got off on a good footing making a few good passes, building up plays near the goal mouth and firing shots on goal.

Camptown, on the other hand, seemed a bit shaky in the field with loose defending early on which tightened up as the game progressed.

Tigers however, continued with their rhythm taking the ball into the 18-yard box on numerous occasions.

They were finally able to score in the 39th minute as Ryan Thomas from a goal mouth scrimmage smashed the ball into the back of the net.

Not long after the game was back in the balance when Troy Prescod equalized with a marvelous unorthodox shot from on top of the 18-yard box which rocketed to the far post much to the delight of the home team’s supporters.

The remaining period of play produced nothing but thrills for the spectators as both teams traded nail biting shots but all to no avail which forced the game into a penalty shoot-out where Camptown displayed their superiority.
