Physical ticket sales for the impending International Cricket Council

(ICC) T20 World Cup commenced yesterday across the region, with the Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) office on Regent Street serving as the primary location for the acquisition of entrance passes for the six allotted matches.

Guyana will host five group stage fixtures and the second semifinal in the event, which runs from June 1-29 and features 20 teams. A total of 55 matches will be hosted between the Caribbean and the USA.

The competing teams are: [Group A] Canada, India, Ireland, Pakistan, USA; [Group B] Australia, England, Namibia, Oman, Scotland; [group C] Afghanistan, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Uganda, West Indies; [group D] Bangladesh, Netherlands, Nepal, South Africa, and Sri Lanka.
