A 19-year-old soldier was on Tuesday stabbed during an altercation with another.
According to reports reaching Stabroek News, Kevin Ambanset of 4 Calcutta Mahaicony, was stabbed in both legs during an altercation with another soldier.
When this newspaper yesterday visited the teen at his bedside in the High Dependency Unit (HDU) of the Georgetown Public Hospital (GPH) he said that he would have to first seek permission from the Guyana Defence Force (GDF) before explaining what transpired. He did however say that he was feeling better and is in a stable condition.
Meanwhile, efforts to solicit a comment from the GDF proved futile.
