Only certified documents for property name changes

Persons who wish to have the Mayor and City Council’s (M&CC) records reflect a change of the name of a property must submit a certified copy of the transport or lease.

According to a public advisory issued by M&CC, the document of ownership must be certified by the Deeds Registry.

No other document would be accepted or used by the council to change the name which appears on a transport or any other document of ownership.
