Michael Correia, Jnr elected president of Aircraft Owners Association

Michael O. Correia, Jnr.  of Trans Guyana Airways was elected president of  the Aircraft Owners Association of Guyana  Inc. (AOAG)  at its  Annual General Meeting on July 31 while Anthony Mekdeci  of Ogle Airport Inc. was elected  1st  vice president and Ronald Reece of Wings Aviation Limited was elected  2nd vice president.

On the Board of Directors also are Gerald McKenzie of Roraima Airways Limited and Ryan Jaggernauth of JAGS Aviation Limited while Mekdeci will also serve as treasurer, according to a release from Public Communications Consultants Ltd.

At the AGM also Mekdeci  was elected chairman of the Art Williams & Harry Wendt Aeronautical Engineering School  while Reece became the vice-chairman.

Meanwhile, Mekdeci  will serve as chairman of the Technical Committee and Malcolm G. Chan-A-Sue  will be the vice- chairman and Reece will be  director on the AOAG Search and Rescue & Emergency Response Committee, the release said.
