Dear Editor,
I recently visited the Pomeroon and was shocked to see the way garbage is being dumped at the wharf in Charity. This seems to have been going on for a long time now; anyone passing through the wharf can’t miss this nasty scene, and it seems as if no one in authority cares what is going on.
Most of the residents living in the river depend on the river water for everyday use. Is this the way we will continue to treat our waterways?
