According to a release from the hospital, a 34-year-old psychiatric patient of D’Andrade Street, Newtown, Kitty, allegedly chopped himself several times around his body. He was rushed to the Accident and Emergency Unit (A&E) of the hospital around 20:25 hrs on Wednesday.
Meanwhile a 36-year-old male of 3072 North Ruimveldt was admitted to the Male Surgical Ward after he was allegedly chopped several times about his body by his brother-in-law during a domestic dispute. He was rushed to the hospital A&E unit at 21:30 hrs on Wednesday.
