Police hunting suspect in actor’s murder

The source said police are pursuing several leads.

A post-mortem examination conducted on Fraser’s remains yesterday revealed that he died as a result of incisive wounds to the throat.

Fraser was found last Wednesday morning at the Liliendaal seawall, just half a day before his latest production opened at the National Cultural Centre. His throat was slit.

The wound to his throat was so bad his windpipe was protruding while his face had wounds consistent with blunt trauma. The perpetrator(s) apparently used a knife to inflict other injuries as well. Fraser’s valuables, including a laptop computer and production material for the premiere of Mori J’von Comedy Jam, were missing.

At the time he was discovered Fraser was wearing his underpants, a t-shirt and a pair of sandals. The area where he was found is dark at night and there are no houses in the immediate vicinity.

The man was last seen around 11:30 pm last Tuesday when he was dropped off at Orange Walk, Bourda, after completing the final rehearsal for the comedy jam. The man’s girlfriend was detained for questioning shortly after the discovery but was released after giving a statement to police.

Two other women, known to Fraser were also held for questioning but were released the following day.
