Help for Linden Stress Relief fest

As the planned January 1, 2010 Stress Relief Fest set for the Mackenzie Sports Club nears, corporate sponsors are beginning to throw in their lot. The most recent sponsor has been the Waaldijk Dressed Wood and Scrap Metal Limited and CLIMAR.

A cheque for $250,000 was handed over to the managers of the Fast Forward Promotion. Reggae sensation Tarrus Riley, Duane Stephenson, a Brazilian band along with the Jamaican band Black Widow and the locals Stereo Sonic and Slingerz and heat wave band are set to take control of the stage New Year’s night. The event was set to fill the void created after the finals of the Kashif and Shanghai Football finals ceased in Linden after 18 years.
