Man dies after concrete column falls

The incident occurred around 10.30 in the morning. After hanging the blanket on the clothes line which was strung up between the concrete columns, remains of an old house, Hope was heading upstairs when one of the columns broke and hit him on the back of the head, crushing his skull, his sister-in-law related to this newspaper.

The other columns were broken down after the incident his sister, Judy Fraser said.

Hope who was the fifth of six siblings was said to be a jovial, willing, humble and polite teenager who loved music and was working in construction. He recently concluded his schooling at the Ascension Community High School.
