A mentally challenged Annandale, East Coast Demerara man has been missing for two weeks and his father is appealing for public assistance to locate him.
Sheer Ally said that his 35-year-old son Nafraz Ally called ‘Nafo’ left home on January 10 and was spotted in Albouystown last Tuesday by relatives. When they tried to hold on to him, he fled.
The man explained that because of his condition, his son had left home on dozens of occasions and they would always find him “doing all kinds of things for people”.
Since his disappearance, Sheer Ally said that he has been searching for him adding that he did not report the matter to the police because on previous occasions they did nothing.
According to Ally when his son left home he was wearing a cream t-shirt and grey pants.
