The award filming film was directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and stars Amitabh Bachan as a teacher who tries to bring light into the world of a blind, deaf and mute girl, played by Rani Mukherjee. The film covers the life long relationship between the student and teacher, and tells the story of how the relationship changes as the teacher himself is faced with a disability. Admission is free. The Indian Cultural Centre Film Club will be hosting monthly film screenings.
