A Brazilian woman who was travelling back home was detained at Lethem on Monday after police found her with cocaine.

The woman was searched at the Multi-Purpose Complex around 11:30 hrs and some 220 grammes of suspected cocaine was found in a bottle she was carrying.

According to a police press release, she was on a bus en route to Brazil at the time.
