Gunmen grab $1M in afternoon stick-up

Two gunmen snatched $1M from a businessman in a daring afternoon robbery at Bel Air, Greater Georgetown yesterday.

Police said that Colin Bhola of Pharmagen Enterprises was attacked and robbed by two men armed with handguns at around 2pm. Investigations revealed that Bhola had uplifted $1M from another Pharmacy in the city and on arrival in a car at his work place, was held at gunpoint by the two men who came up in another vehicle.

The men took away the bag with the cash and escaped. They discharged several rounds in the air while escaping, the police said in a press statement.
