Mahaica/Mahaicony/West Berbice winners Latchman Singh Primary, Georgetown’s St. Agnes, Upper Demerara/EBD’s Grove Primary, ECD’s Golden Grove Primary, Essequibo Islands/Bartica’s St. John the Baptist Primary, Berbice’s #48 Primary and EBE/West Demerara’s Meten-Meer-Zorg Primary received their trophies from a representative of the bank after they treated the crowd to various cricketing techniques.

The programme is currently celebrating its 12th anniversary and the bank has reached out to over 2500 schools in the Caribbean. The programme was also partly organised by Cricket Development Officer in the Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) Reon King.

Manager of Products and Marketing Jennifer Cipriani had earlier said that the bank was proud to be associated with this programme especially since it helps to not only develop the cricketing skills of the young players but that it helps with moulding good role models.

“Our sponsorship and commitment to West Indies cricket goes beyond just delivering cricket equipment, it also involves education and positively shaping young minds while at the same time laying a foundation for the future of cricket in Guyana and the West Indies”, Cipriani was quoted as saying.
