And Minister of Agriculture Robert Persaud after commissioning the Walton Hall drying floor facility on Thursday presented the Chairman of Evergreen/Paradise NDC, Cornel Damon, with one of the pumps since one had been delivered earlier.
Damon noted that Paradise, Dunkel, Jib, Better Success, Dartmouth and Maria’s Delight will benefit from the additional pump.
The first of the two pumps is in operation at Dartmouth and the new pump will be put into operation as soon as possible to satisfy the needs of the farmers, GINA stated.
