Republic Bank Guyana has appointed two new general managers.

Patricia Plummer, who the Bank says exemplifies career banking, was appointed General Manager for Credit, effective March 22, 2010.  In a release, the bank noted that Plummer has more than 35 years of experience. Prior to her recent appointment, she served as the Senior Manger for Corporate and Manage-ment Services and Manager of Commercial Credit, which is a position she held for 10 years.

Meanwhile, Denise Hobbs was appointed the General Manger of the Corporate and Management Services on March 15. Hobbs has over 30 years in banking and has held managerial positions in the bank’s branch network.

The Bank said its Board of Directors and Management welcomed the new managers and wished them best wishes for continued success.
