H1N1 replacement vaccines due today

The new shipment of H1N1 vaccines is expected to arrive in the country this evening and be available for distribution to the public by tomorrow afternoon.

According to a release from the Ministry of Health, this new shipment of vaccines is approximately 100,000 doses and is a replacement for the previous shipment which was inadvertently placed in a freezer two weeks ago.

The ministry noted its drive to provide vaccines of the highest quality in its immunization programme.  The vaccines will be available countrywide through health centres and hospitals.
