A 19-year-old is fighting for his life after he was the victim of a hit and run last night.
Seon Barker, of 42 Garnett Street, Campbellville along with his cousin Luther James were on Norton Street when the incident occurred, some time around 8pm. According to James, he and his cousin were walking in the corner of the road when they were hit from behind by a car.
James said the car was a silver Toyota 212 model which then sped off. Barker, he said was on the outside and was hit the hardest while he only sustained a minor injury to his thumb.
At the hospital last evening Barker was seeking treatment in the Accident and Emergency Unit of the Georgetown Public Hospital.
