Chin defeated the defending champion, Chris Binnie, in the final of the National Lotteries Authority Caribbean Squash Championships.

Binnie’s one year tenure as the category champion came to a crashing halt when Chin dealt the Jamaican a surgical 11 – 5, 11 – 2, 11 – 8 blow.

Binnie was spared a long, enduring battle when Chin cut him down in an operation that spanned a mere 39 minutes.

Chin, since his return to the arena  has rampaged his way to the top cutting down opponent after opponent and has not dropped a single game in his five match tournament win streak.

A six-time junior champion in the 1980’s, Chin, was persuaded by the Guyana Squash Association to resume playing for the country of his birth after representing the USA.

According to president of the Association, Andrew Arjoon, it is the association’s hopes that Chin’s return will galvanise several other senior players who have migrated into returning and playing for their country.
