The Guyana Ahmadiyya Anjuman Isha’at-I-Islam extends Eid Mubarak greetings to Muslims at the close of Ramadhan.
In a press release the group said during the past lunar month of Ramadhan, apart from the fasts that all Muslims kept, “we recognise the great significance of the Final Revelation to Mankind which commenced during this holy month.”
Islamic fasting opens the way to practice the highest form of spiritual discipline which leads to a nearness with Allah, it said, adding that it is a shield against all forms of evil. The group said too it looks forward to the coming of the next Ramadhan, “when we can once again live this recurring happiness.”
