Dear Editor,
It is only a few weeks ago that President Jagdeo entered Buxton with his promises of redevelopment for the village. A few days ago it was announced that the nursery school attached to the Buxton Primary School is being closed and the children relocated to another site a good way from Middle Walk.
This move is going to create further hardships for the young attendees, their parents and teachers. The ‘new’ nursery at Company Walk is already overcrowded and the facilities are not welcoming. I am asking you to urgently look into this, bearing in mind President Jagdeo’s promises to the villagers.
