The Guyana Police Force yesterday said “some difficulties” are affecting incoming calls to the Emergency 911 system.
“Efforts are being made by GT&T technicians to resolve the issue,” the police said in notice to the public.
In the interim, persons wishing to contact the police in an emergency are advised to use the following telephone numbers which are in close proximity of the operators of the 911 system: 227-1611, 227-1149, 227-1270, and 225-6940 to 225-6943.
