Banks DIH energises Golden Jaguars

Beverage giants Banks DIH continued its support for the  President’s Cup football showdown between Guyana’s Golden Jaguars and Trinidad and Tobago’s Soca Warriors by presenting energy drinks to the national footballers.

Players and officials of both National and Under-20 squads were presented with Powerade, a beverage that is ideal for athletes, Communications Manager Troy Peters disclosed.

Peters said Powerade sport drink is a Coca Cola product, distributed locally by his company.

Banks Outdoor Events  and Merchandising Manager Mortimer Stewart made the presentation to the team’s General Manager Aubrey Hudson at the National Stadium at Providence on Friday afternoon during training sessions of the two squads.

Peters said that the beverages should energize the players ahead of their encounters.
Earlier this month Banks DIH presented an undisclosed financial package to the Kashif and Shanghai Organisation, organizers of the matches.

Kashif Mohammad and Aubrey “Shanghai” Major who were both present at the handing over expressed gratitude to Banks DIH.

Mohammad said that all systems were in place for Sunday’s matches noting that fans can expect an entertaining evening of football.

Guyana’s Under-20 players will clash with their Trinidadian counterparts in the under card of the President’s Cup match between the senior teams of the two countries Golden Jaguars and the Soca Warriors.
