Dear Editor,
China has every right to be annoyed over the Nobel Peace Prize given to the dissident Liu Xiaobo; that award was made purposely to embarrass China, I am certain the committee responsible for giving the prize was pressured by the US and other Western powers.
In fact one has to be sceptical about a Nobel Prize now. Just imagine, Obama got his as soon as he became president, and soon after intensified the bombings and sent more forces into Afghanistan. Am I to understand Obama got his Nobel Prize for peace?
I feel Liu should return the prize.
