Once again CNN took centre stage as it brought to us the dramatic rescue of the 33 Chilean miners who were trapped in the bowels of the earth some 2000ft under for over 69 days. It was an unprecedented rescue with professional planning aided by USA experts, eg, NASA.
They were all heroes – both the miners and those who planned the recovery. As the President of Chile said, “It was a miracle,” but I wish to add unapologetically that there was a God present who directed the proceedings. Thanks to the media for the live coverage.
