Bygeval Multilateral was today declared the winner of the Inter-American Institute for Co-operation on Agriculture (IICA) Hydroponics Competition for secondary schools.
Thirty-seven schools participated and Bygevall has won the Hector Munoz Trophy and farm equipment.
IICA said that the objective of the contest was to teach hydroponics as an alternative method of production and to stimulate youth interest in agriculture.
