A gun was this afternoon found buried behind the washroom at St. Mary’s Secondary School in Charlestown by teachers searching for a missing I Pod.
A senior police officer in confirming the find said that the teachers had “locked down” the school to search for the gadget. The police were immediately informed and ranks went to the school to conduct investigations.
Classes came to an abrupt end and several of senior students are being questioned.
