Police find gun parts buried on Essequibo Coast farm

Police in Essequibo on Saturday discovered a quantity of gun parts buried on a farm in Adventure, Essequibo Coast.

Stabroek News understands that police were tipped off and acting on that information they went to the farm which is located 500 meters west of the Adventure Public Road.

Upon arrival, the area was cordoned off and searched. During the search, ranks found two shot gun locks, four shot gun chokes, one shotgun pistol grip, one mini mag light, one shotgun choke spanner, and a quantity of shot gun pellets, all suspected to be components of a firearm. Two pairs of socks, two hand guards and two knee guards were also found.

No one has been arrested.
